Friends, I’m going to be real honest here in this thread.

it’s time for actions not words.

Actions instead of messages in my DMs and inbox, while your feeds and stories and FB pages and twitters remain empty.

I get it, you dont know what to say. You don’t know what to do.

But I’m a black woman with a black son a black husband a black brother , black friends.

And we are tired .

We are tired. And it didn’t start this week.
We’ve been tired all of our lives.

We can’t do anything else to Inform you, to help you understand or to point you in the right direction.

We have sacrificed our lives and our souls to protest and get it thorough that we matter. That we are people just like you

And it doesn’t work.

So right now, I’m laying down my burdens.

It’s up to you.

YOU.

Our protests, violent and nonviolent haven’t made a difference

It’s up to you.

Because YOU have the power.

It’s up to you now.

We’ve sacrificed all we can.

It’s up to you.
