The GOP position seems to be that Africans are simple minded, but good natured, creatures. And any misbehavior on their part must be due to the nefarious influence of bad Whites (i.e., Antifa).

And attacking Antifa (which is considered White) is seen as politically safe way to avoid the charge of 'racism.'

The basic message is, "Those righteous African-American peaceful protests were hijacked by those nefarious Whites which tricked them into looting and burning."

Antifa should have been declared a terrorist org long ago. They engage in political violence - the definition of terrorism. But to make this effective, it can’t just be used against some random meth head in Portland. It must target orgs (SPLC) that have funded this terrorism.
