As lockdowns lift, many of us will rush to work. Please think before you do.

Some Indians have no option, due to the nature of their work (factory, retail, household help etc) or their financial circumstances (daily wagers).
Some of us do have a choice. We are lucky to be able to WFH.

Please consider staying home for as long as you can.

That will reduce crowds in public spaces (elevators to streets).

It will put less burden on public services, like cops, municipal workers and health services.
It's clear that public health services (no matter how much governments try in the short term) are insufficient.

The less load we put on them the better the chances for all of us as a community, city, state, country to emerge from this with minimal loss.
If humanitarian grounds don't move you, think of the economic loss due to large scale loss of life.

And if you are rich and think you can network your way into quality hospital facilities if you fall ill, think again.

Overburdened infrastructure spares noone.
Sorry for being preachy, but so many people I talk to in business are waiting by their doors to get out as soon as the lockdowns lift.

Or even if they intend to WFH, expect their teams to turn up at work.

Frightening.
