I want the criminal justice system to carefully consider alternatives to incarceration, especially for juveniles.

I want to be convinced that a single juvenile belongs in an adult jail or prison.
I want built-in protections against racial bias in every stage of the criminal justice system.
I want anyone incarcerated to receive protection from unnecessary physical & psychological harm.

I want the criminal justice system to attend to unnecessary collateral damage, with an emphasis on the children left behind when parents are imprisoned.
I want a greater emphasis on rehabilitation, with an eye toward healthy reintegration.

I want every human being afforded due process with full transparency (while its great that video footage is available in some cases, what about the rest of the time?)

I want people with lesser means to obtain adequate legal defense to fight mistreatment and erroneous charges.
