My high school choir teacher posted this. A perfect example of white privilege and blissful ignorance. How nice it would be if I too, could just “think about what is great in my life.” There are Black people literally being MURDERED by government actors. This is ALL bad.
AGAIN, pray to God...but take some ACTION. White people love to send thoughts and prayers. I cant do NOTHING with that.
I can’t tell if I’m being dramatic like...? Sis aint posted nothing in support of BLM or honoring those murdered. This was it. I just feel it was tone deaf, especially as a teacher w black students.
I left a comment, we’ll see how she takes it.
LMAO! This is all she had to say. No recognition of my original point and still no support of BLM. But she “loves” mehttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤣" title="Rolling on the floor laughing" aria-label="Emoji: Rolling on the floor laughing"> Oh and she BLOCKED me. Said some bs then avoided accountability. A classic Karen.
For all of those who asked what I said—this was it:
