“Do not confuse the response of the oppressed with the violence of the oppressor.”⁣

Yesterday we woke up feeling helpless. Today we woke up at 5am to use our voices, our bodies, our art, and our brand to help this wave of change materialize into something lasting. (1)
We planted these floral tributes in 4 of our highest-order volume neighborhoods in Chicago.

4 affluent, mostly white communities removed from the ongoing police violence & suppression of black & brown communities. We wanted to bring this message to their front doors. (2)
A message of change, hope, reality, and love. We did it the best way we know how— with flowers & art.

Our hope is that you and your neighbors will join us and add to each of these floral tributes with your own expressions of love, art, flowers, and solidarity. ⁣(3)
So we’re adding the addresses of each.

312 W Chestnut (River North)⁣
1914 W Chicago (West Town)⁣
1875 N Damen (Bucktown)⁣
1651 W North (Wicker Park)⁣

The time to act was decades ago. The next best time is now. Please lend a hand to change & begin healing together.
