So this thread will be on the topic of distortion in our history books. I'll be mainly going through NCERT books as of now as NCERT books are the most widespread read in India. Let's begin.

So a little bit of history is needed before I start. In 2002, NDA government changed the NCERT books. There was a lot of cries of "saffronisation" of the history books and thus UPA government, changed the history books in 2005. So, let's start with class 6 history. By none other than Romila Thapar.
1. Aryans came in 1500 BC, straight out of Max Mueller book. Also speculation that the cities were attacked despite no such finding ever taken place.
2. Aryans came from outside India. No discussion required

2. Aryans brought horses along with them (another lie which has been in contention for decades)

3. Aryas/Dasyus are two different races who fought with each others with aryans as white skinned race and Dasyus as dark skinned persons. This is blatant dishonesty as Thapar herself writes in her book history of Early India that Aryans were not a different race (pic 2).
