The results of this paper show the advisory in hindsight to have been a positive step as the data the authors indicate HCQ has a protective effect prophylactically

Senior leadership of the ICMR are co-authors. The paper in an ICMR journal based on data collected after the ICMR advisory was issued shows the advisory in positive light.
