A lot of people keep asking me what all happened yesterday soooooo...

Here's an abridged version of my view of things last night if i mess anything up or there's new info feel free to correct me (kindly pls lol)

[THREAD]
- everything was gucci for the longest with this march until for some reason the march was forced to turn directly around, i have no idea

- with this, i also assume that the majority of the organziers were left up at the front of the march which was now the back of the march
- so for my Indy people we were heading north on Alabama and were now heading back south past New York then Ohio towards da whole foods and the city-county building

Now here's where it get kinda weird to me...
- We had come from a stop at the city-county building, nothing was damaged, no one was particularly rowdy or whatever but i KNOW that after the night before they want to keep mfs away from there

And with the march turning back around i had a kind of bad feeling
- Well when we get to market st. (where the whole foods and the city-county is) Police are blocking with riot shields eastbound meaning that they're funneling us BACK downtown...

Why the hell would you want to send the crowd BACK towards downtown and the city-county bldg???
- Now there are people standing off with the police, peacefully, but standing off and we're all just kinda standing around waiting to see what to do

Me and my friends (for the record 2 white men, one black woman) start inching closer to what all is happening
- Some person in the crowd throws a water bottle, a ton of people yell "don't do dat shit" and then from the same area someone throws another water bottle

And then came the tear gas and flashbangs from the police

All that police "training" n all it took was 2 WATER BOTTLES
They lost their cool that easily, they said "fuck this" after TWO WATER BOTTLES, they felt threatened after TWO WATER BOTTLES

Cowards mane

Cowards
- One of the canisters open up not too far away from me but much more close to one of my friends and we all dip the fuck outta there. Grab my friend that was near me by the hand and we're sprinting

Heading west on market back towards city-county bldg and city market
- We come near the next intersection (market & Deleware) they ALREADY shut the street off with have riot shields and i THINK rubber bullets but i'm not super sure about that one cause i was too busy running

I can say that i saw one girl DROP HARD but i didn't see her get shot
- So they obviously are sending us back into the city, but why though, that makes ZERO sense to me...

- Regardless we cut thru the city market plaza and crouch behind the brick bench walls where we find the other people in our group who's eyes are red
- Cut through an alley to Pennsylvania back thru to Ohio. I'm holding one of my friends hands cause she's falling behind, strangers that eventually go into other directions hold the hands of each other

we hear explosions in the background but they're far away
- we consider our options
1) go towards the war memorial where the march had started
2) go towards monument circle
3) go back the direction we came
4) head in the direction of the car
After the night before options 1 & 2 aren't the best cause that's what the police want to keep people away from for sure

Option 3 was DEFINITELY not a fucking option

Which leads us to option 4.

We head to the car and go home.
Here's the biggest takeaway from this for me

a) it only took two water bottles for shit to pop off

b) why the hell were the police funneling us violently back into the city. That makes no sense whatsoever to me

I feel set up for all this shit
And then hearing the reports of LIVE FUCKING ROUNDS late at night. Yeah this is far from over cause something gotta change.

That change starts with us.
Indianapolis i urge you if you're able to, to come downtown and protest, there's power in numbers and yesterday we all felt that power

If you're not able to do so support with donations to BLM organizations

And if you can't do that make your voice be heard thru social media
But to all that are able pls come march with us, pls come
stand with us

I don't care who you are, what you look like, where you're from as long as you with the shits. Indianapolis is OUR CITY and together we can force their hands for change

DM me if you need help taking action
In closing i wanna plug an apparel campaign i'm doing with the pro wrestling group i'm a part of, @IFHY317.

Designed by me, kept real cheap, 100% of profits go to MFF and other BLM organizations.

Please pick one up if you're able to
