all of our protest in cincinnati have been peaceful until the police start arresting ppl for no reason & shooting rubber bullets, tear gas, & flash bangs at us

they literally maced an elderly man in a wheelchair for atleast 5 seconds straight when he was the only one in the street & tear gassed fuckin children in the park AFTER it was announced that it was a safe space for mother’s & their children

we have done NOTHING to antagonize the police before they start attacking us. at district 1 they arrested somebody while we all had our hands up then just started throwing flash bangs & tear gas at us before we even really knew what was happening

the first night i watched a white woman stand by herself to the riot line of cops & they wouldn’t move forward unless she moved back. a young black woman was yelling at the cops & IMMEDIATELY was arrested in front of us while they had around 50-70 cops in the street behind them

they put a curfew on us downtown from 10 pm - 6 am so we couldn’t protest on government property which lead to us coming up to clifton, they tried to cut us off multiple times on multiple streets which lead to the looting in clifton

as ppl were looting someone was shot with actual bullets by the police & two others were arrested as they blocked off damn near ALL of calhoun. that’s all i know about that situation
