What AUWU crisis?

1. No email info has been sent out to AUWU supporters about COVID welfare changes.

2. No real plan for Centrelink / Job Agency reform.

3. President resigned in April. No AUWU explanation. No replacement, no election, no nominations.

4. No support for neglected local AUWU branches. But lots of messy, top-heavy "national" procedures. Simplify!

5. The Brisbane branch start-up has been swindled by AUWU leaders ... knifing local democracy. No effort to resolve this dispute so far

6. The National AUWU Committee refuses to answer correspondence about committee / AGM processes. Ignoring valid member requests to inspect minutes and records.

7. Any criticism of AUWU is perceived as a threat to egos!

Suggestions:

– immediate freeze on AUWU fundraising and expenditure

– panel of Non-Profit advisory managers to be set up

– AUWU culture reset ! Open communication & collaboration

– Reboot AUWU info so that it makes sense to ordinary punters
