I want to talk about Russian involvement in accelerationism for a minute.
Russian intelligence has long fostered extremists on both ends of the political spectrum. That’s not new or surprising.
The accelerationist agenda that has been put together & we are watching manifest did not originate inside the Kremlin.
Does Russian intelligence’s social media activities dovetail or augment the accelerationist agenda? Yes. Do figures affiliated with the Russian government have a creepy number of accelerationist contacts? Also yes.
BUT we need to remember the lessons learned from history, namely COINTELPRO & the parallel operation run by CIA.
Those programs were initiated because of the belief by the Administration at the time that Russian government agents had infiltrated radical groups & were inciting racial conflict.
Sound familiar?
Sound familiar?
CIA undertook a series of studies analyzing the extent of Russian interference, which basically said that their participation in the civil unrest was minimal.
The findings of these studies were rejected by the Admin. This led to the increased surveillance of political dissidents that we’re all familiar with from history class. The President believed FBI & CIA didn’t have enough resources to find the Russians he wanted them to find.
I was the person who briefed USIC on the accelerationist-Russian interference threat at the beginning of 2019, so I am VERY aware of the gravity of the situation. But we cannot repeat the mistakes of the Boomers.
The upper-tier of our accelerationists are very, very sharp individuals nonetheless & they have studied our weaknesses *as well as* historical events they expect us not to have learned from.
Terrorism is theater, as we all know, but these guys take it up a notch. Their approach to representation is post-modern. There are things that are authentic & there are things that don’t exist & there are things that are false they want us to believe are true & vice versa.
