With their grotesque violence, blantant corruption, and embrace of White Supremacy, the police constantly demonstrate all the reasons for the protests.

And with very few exceptions, they always double down.

There are thousands of videos from just last night that are PROOF.

Things that happened last night:
- Driving into civilians.
- Trampling civilians w/ horses.
- Beating civilians.
- And much more.

Things that have been happening for generations:
- Driving into civilians.

I struggle to be optimistic that White people who've become active now will continue their engagement after the headlines change.

Anti-racism is not a checked box. It's a lifelong approach to life itself. We need to be active on a regular Tuesday not just when it's trending.

Something that's been on my mind really intensely for the past few days:

Those who protested in Ferguson, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Minneapolis, and elsewhere are not given enough credit. They were heros, and without them, this wave of protesting would not happen like this IMO.
