Over the last two days, the feelings have been overwhelming. Shock, horror, frustration, sadness.

I have no great insight, nothing that hasn’t been said. So I’m sharing a few things I’m thinking about and acting on.

As a white ally, it is important to not make the conversation about me but to step back and amplify Black voices.

So it is fine that I have no great insights. That’s not what is needed from me right now.

I’m still learning here and want to learn more. If I misstep, please correct me.

It is my responsibility to seek out information, not to ask that Black people do the work of educating me.
