Apparently it was the loan that was fully repaid in 2015. But the fact still remains that a lot of the wealth disparities that exist today are heavily impacted by slavery. That it took them til 2015 to repay the loan is telling https://twitter.com/reneh/status/1267046042031316992?s=21

Again lemme plug the documentary Britain’s Forgotten Slave Owners by the BBC that give a very in-depth look at the compensation the crown gave to slave owners. I think it was taken off YouTube but I’m sure it’s available online somewhere
