Let's make something perfectly clear.

There was no looting when police started using tear gas on protesters in Raleigh.

Social media skews timelines when you have people reposting things after events occurred.

The event was peaceful up to around 7 pm.
If police and media really want to know what started the chain of events that escalated into violence, look at security cameras and social media footage around Davie and McDowell st between 6 and 7 pm.

It's a smaller crowd so you can find out who truly instigated the situation.
The reason I posted these three tweets was to have time stamps and position markers

While the main crowd was on the green and another group was on Capital Blvd, these men were at Davie & McDowell which is the same time & place tear gas first was shot off https://twitter.com/RedTRaccoon/status/1266855165673590784?s=19
I encourage the Wake County Sheriff to pull the surveillance videos from the county prisoner intake garage between 6 and 7.
I was monitoring all of this in real time.

@ABC11_WTVD had the helicopter overhead on the detention center where this started.

At exactly the same time, they had a reporter on the green in front of the confederate statue reporting back that the situation was calm there.
At exactly the same time, a peaceful crowd was making its way down Capital Blvd past Peace St, which is miles away from the detention center.

Look at the small crowd outside the detention center.

This is where it all started.
