You know how people say, When you are poor, you actually end up paying more for the same thing, than Rich people do?

I went to buy a mask today. The cheap one was retailing for Rs 16. The expensive reusable one, was for Rs 200.

The 200 Rs mask, can be used 30 times. The cheap one OTOH, thanks to Chennai Heat and Humidity, is good for one use, If you are lucky

If you go out frequently and you are rich, you buy the 200 rs Mask

The poor have no choice. They buy one mask per day, Depending on earnings

To go out for business for 30 days, a rich person spends Rs 200 for a mask.

The poor guy's mask spend however, is Rs 480. Even on reuse, the spend is 240.

The poor have two choices, either they spend 240% more or compromise and spend 20% more than a rich guy
