San Diego, dream city and home town for the majority of my life. Love the place so much, I left so I could serve it's general and various communities later in life. The plan was to come home, and live in the same neighborhoods my elders came to when America was their dream.
Today, parts of the city have been looted, buildings burnt, and people distraught. I can only imagine parents closing the eyes of their children. I thought of all cities in America, we had the most love and respect for the various communities it holds

Today it didn't have enough
The thought that I could return to a broken city left me in a indifferent position. It may not be what I illustrated years ago. It may not be what my grandparents expected when they got here. One day, I'll come back, to retire or to rebuild I'll be there

It's what we do 🇵🇭🇺🇲
