The steady patter of "Well what happened in Minneapolis has nothing to do with these other cities, so why are they protesting?" tells me a lot of Americans ignore their local news. You have police brutality cases in every state. You can Google & find a recent case in your area.
We are seeing the response to an ongoing national pattern of brutality. There are no good cops in your town. Not that guy you like, your sibling, or your friend. Less abusive? Maybe. But they are still complicit in a system that specifically targets & kills marginalized people

All 50 states & every territory has a history of police brutality. I can literally do this for every one. Coast to coast & beyond America has a problem. That& #39;s why the protests are happening everywhere. Please stop lying to yourself about current events
