There is a reason why Black majority churches in the US/UK exist & it’s cuz White majority/white led churches have NEVER stood in solidarity with Black Christians. I’m sorry but your silence is not acceptable in these streets anymore. Better start breaking that chain in this 2020

@cafod. Your tagline is to LITERALLY tackle injustice around the world so what are you doing when this week has been riddled with stories of Injustice AROUND THE WORLD? Where is your call to prayer into this SPECIFIC situation of racial injustice?

@HillsongLondon How is it that Carl Lentz is the only one speaking on #BlackLivesMatter when your London Services, your serving teams are filled with Black people that have been deeply affected this week. Or do you not care about that side of your congregation beyond service?

Christian organisations like @compassionuk @christian_aid and @ Tearfund will come and beg for bread from BMCs but be silent / doing wifidi blanket prayers when it comes to our issues for fear of upsetting white givers. We have heard you LOUDLY this week don't worry.

@SoulChurchUK @HTBChurch @trentvineyard @LIFEChurchHome @heartchurchuk did you guys see your agemates Hope City Sheffield?. Honestly & truly your delayed/soft/lack of responses has not been reassuring. You can't lead multicultural churches & not address things accordingly.

Responses from personal pages of church leaders and staff members mean nothing. Because when it was time to pray for Paris nobody batted an eyelid and had posts up. Beyond posting sha, WHAT are you going to do about racism within your church building?

Faith without work is dead abi? Okay great? When will your staff go through unconscious bias training? When will you speak out about social justice issues when they happen? WHEN will you be doing series' on racial justice? When will you stop using your token Blacks?

WHO'S NEXT I have time today. What practical things are you doing to help Black communities your members and givers belong to in this very UK during Covid-19? Being multicultural doesn't mean ANYTHING if you're not actively doing anything.
