if we’re talking abt black business being burnt down let’s not forget scooters (one of the first black-owned coffee shops in north Omaha) on 30th n Ames literally had “coffee with a cop” day right after the Ferguson protests

the “rooting for everybody black” mentality will not save us. black capitalism will not save us. scooters is a predominantly midwestern franchise owned by a ugly ass white man

not to mention the precinct is literally one block away. while the owners live in the suburbs. and they’re only paying workers $9 an hour. for this shit to be successful & long lasting we need to see who’s really on our side

tbh all the footage of cops holding signs and walking with protestors is bullishit cause these niggas are not our friends. policing as an institution is based off of slave patrols. if they cared about crossing sides they’d take off their badges and uniforms
