I can't even blame the people who think anonymous is a left wing group, because leftists routinely announce "OPs" on social media, stick an anonymous logo on them and hope someone joins in.

It's gotten so stupid that other hacker groups regularly fuck with "anonymous", and their yearly anti-israel OP always ends in humiliation, as Israeli hackers retaliate against them, dox them, and discover that "anonymous" are just Malaysian teenagers using the label.
If anon do get involved in this it will not accomplish anything. They'll dox a few people, DDoS some sites, get arrested by the FBI and then snitch on one another to save their own ass.
The only thing that makes me believe this will have any traction with them is the fact that someone is jamming police radio signals and showing everyone exactly how "anti-racist" they are by playing Remove Kebab.
