I’m slowly becoming convinced that if people are being paid to protest - and that’s still an if - there are paid agitators. San Antonio scheduled a *peaceful* protest. It was even on KSAT beforehand https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ksat.com/news/local/2020/05/30/peaceful-protest-scheduled-at-travis-park-in-response-to-george-floyds-killing/%3foutputType=amp">https://www.google.com/amp/s/www...
Then, at nightfall, a bunch of white people (which seems relevant) started busting into places. Whataburger and a mall, from what I’ve seen. Maybe more.
There are layers to these protests/riots that we can’t see yet, and likely won’t until they end. But rioters don’t schedule peaceful protests at 5 pm and then actually march, peacefully, for hours. Something’s going on.
I don’t think we can alleviate the cops of blame here, either - just search #SanAntonioprotest and you’ll see plenty of videos of people being tear gassed for seemingly no reason.
I’m not entirely sure how to end this thread, except: please don’t bring your little kids to a protest you know could turn violent. Don’t do it. I know people did it, but don’t do it.
