Never forget when my highschool split up the boys and the girls for a 'sex education day'
The boys ran through the entire sex education curriculum.
The girls had a one on one self defence course including how to report rape and sexual assault from a professional instructor.

We got told to lie to the boys and tell them it was boring and we learnt about 'women's problems'
I am so thankful for that day, it taught me so much and gave me faith in our educational system, that there were teachers who cared about us enough to educate us to protect ourselves
