If you watch the interview (which I suggest), MLK talks extensively about the immoral and intolerable racism the black community faced (and which the community still faces).
But he never condoned violence. And he knew it wasn& #39;t a useful tool.

I don& #39;t believe in violence, or aggression, or destruction. I just don& #39;t. And to see what& #39;s happening right now breaks my heart, because it simply isn& #39;t helping the fundamental cause of justice.
