it’s non genuine and just comes off as you just trying to save your ass. basically damage control at that point. if you are a POC, i don’t need you to watch slavery movies or take a goddamn yale african american study class to understand what the black community is going through-
watch the news, listen to voices in the black community, donate, use your platform and share petitions, sign petitions etc. THAT’S how you help, if you’re trying educate yourself as a form of damage control and posting insta stories about it,,, alll you’re doing is making-
everything about yourself. and that’s not helping anyone at the least!! it’s also weird.
on top of that !! no other influencers i’ve seen are doing this !! no one is sharing posts like ashley aka bestdressed is doing. there’s nothing with trying to educate yourself about what the black community has been through but don’t expect me or anyone else to give-
