we also need to change the date of australia day!! a day that marks the beginning of oppression against Indigenous Australians should NOT be celebrated.

i also understand that there's a number of people who aren't fully aware of racism in australia but there are so many who really just don't care enough to educate themselves on the matter; that is what disappoints me.

and i guess they do teach quite a large portion of australian history in our schools but they always seem to whitewash it or not put enough focus on the important parts :/
