The next few videos are from @TrevorClarida, posted with permission. In this video, a black man was walking peacefully when he was tackled and put into a chokehold by an officer, then pepper sprayed. Other protesters rush to save him and flush out his eyes.
In this video, police arrest a white man who was peacefully protesting because he, like all other protesters in the intersection, was “blocking traffic.” Police wanted to make an example out of him.
I should add that, from where my friend was standing before this man was arrested, it did not seem as though he did anything to antagonize the officers.
In this video, police tell protesters to vacate the intersection or face arrest. Two individuals, one black and one white, remain and are detained by officers.
