Portland Public Transit told us that the max line was to be immediately shut down and as soon as I got off the max I tried to load the Lyft app and the app is telling me that is currently unavailable

Suspect fled, bystanders are applying pressure to wound on victim.
SE Hawthorne / SE Water Avenue, just east, near the tracks. Unclear if protest related, no suspect information at this time.
Gunshot victim confirmed. On the railroad tracks, under Hawthorne, east of Water Avenue. Again no suspect information.
