I really hope Hongkongers are watching how many people are racing to side with the US police as they tear gas and pepper spray and beat peaceful protestors.

I really hope you're also watching how many of them were also cheering us on just days ago. Learn who our true allies are.

I have ZERO time for the (thankfully very small) subset of HKers tutting about US protestors and claiming our protestors are more deserving, that our cops are worse. If you diminish the cause of those rising up in the US right now you diminish our cause too because it's THE SAME.

But do also watch those rushing to cheer on US protestors, for whatever reason, who not only refuse to support Hongkongers, but who actively side against us.
