whether pridefall is real or not, remember that YOU WILL NOT BE HURT IF YOU KEEP YOUR COMMON SENSE!! dont click on random links in dms (EVEN IF THEY COME FROM MOOTS), dont accept dms from suspicious accounts, and dont give out ANY part of your full name address or account info

just as long as you keep those things in mind, dont let these people scare you into submission!! the purpose of pridefall is to scare lgbt people back into the closet, dont fall for it. be loudly and proudly yourself, but remember to have common sense, they cant hurt you that way

also remember to turn off your location and data collection on twitter! hackers can use these things to track you. make sure you log out of all devices you are not currently using for twitter

2) trending tab > gear in top right corner

3) settings and privacy > account > apps and sessions

have a safe pride everyone! dont be scared to be yourself

if you have a vpn, use it!

pridefall doesnt have to be scary, we dont have to private our accounts, if you are just a safe human being on the internet. the situation is no different than normal hackings. protect yourself not just for pridefall, but everyday.

DO NOT BE SCARED OF PRIDEFALL! just make sure you protect yourself from any hacking that can happen

stop both undermining and overestimating the situation. stay calm, protect yourself as you should be doing everyday on the internet!

if you can, also put on two factor authentication and password reset protect,

two factor authentication requires a password to be sent to your phone number, app, or email to be able to log in. this makes it significantly harder for hackers to get into your account
