Last year I had the opportunity to conduct over 340 interviews with members of the Nevada press core. These women and men represent the best that Nevada has to offer.

The work ethic demonstrated by these individuals and their teams are second to none. From the reporters, photographers, producers, and everyone else behind the scenes, it’s a privilege to work with them every single day.

Now more than ever, it is essential to have a strong independent media to bring us the news and to help keep us all accountable.

The media is not the enemy of the people, and they are not criminals, and they should never be treated like it. I am always proud to stand with our media and always look forward to working with them on the next story.
