All right people,
How about we stop seeing in colours and details, yeah? There is police brutality, but ACAB is fucking stupid in my eyes. Everyone's life matters. Rioting is illegal, burning a police car with people inside of it is murder. ACAB is generalization, so is saying
that all black people are criminals. Cops are citizens too, trying to keep the peace from angry mobs burning down buildings and hurting companies, family-owned businesses, other citizens, other citizen's property, and city services. Rioting is not legitimate protest.
When you have to make a tweet saying "put 'black owned business' on your window so it's not damaged" that shows the ultimate hypocrisy of all that you are trying to do. I'm not protecting police brutality, but the generalization of ACAB is so large, that even the cops supporting
the cause are being called racist pigs. If you want to make a point, do it peacefully. Whenever 7 major cities have major riots, of course even peaceful protests are going to have a large police presence. George Floyd's death was murder, but committing crime is NOT the way to
convey your message. Breaking windows, lighting cars with people inside on fire, beating against the shields of Riot teams, screaming at the officers, pushing and swaying cars, lighting buildings on fire, trying to hurt people, bailing out criminals, beating against fire engines,
trying to stop firefighters and emergency services, causing MASSIVE crowds in a pandemic, throwing fireworks at police officers, trying to breach well-protected government buildings, and the like are not doing you any good. And stop generalizing officers. There are many
there to stop crimes. If you got robbed, stabbed, if you're being threatened, harassed, or anything else, they are there to help you. You do not have to worry if you're POC. However, there are some officers that are corrupt and racist that need to be dealt with.
A reform would be great, a code of conduct to where incidents alike George Floyd's are punished severely, body cams that can't be turned off, and efforts to repair relations between authority and the general public are needed right now.
Black Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter. Wishing death upon a group of people is sadistic and cruel, and while there are people that do that, it's not everyone. Nobody should do that. It's either All Lives Matter, or you're a hypocrite and/or racist.
And the viscous way people are handling their anger by projecting it on people and property needs to stop. First amendment is a great thing, but rioting is not protesting. It's rioting and it's crime. If you are arrested because of it, you do not deserve a bail-out.
Actions have consequences. Some people need to learn it, and this is the best way. But please, for the peaceful protesters out there, please stay safe. You're doing great, and you people need to set an example for the major cities like Chicago, NY, Minneapolis, etc.
and I admire your courage in these dark times. You are doing great to send a message, and if the police show up, keep doing what you are doing. They are there to prevent violence, to prevent damage to anything, and reacting negatively like other cities only escalates.
I'm ending this thread here because I feel better now. The situation at hand was stressing me out, and I wanted to throw my thoughts into the mix. If you think I'm racist or a bootlicker, you're wrong, but it's your opinion. Go ahead to block or mute me. I won't be reading
shitty comments, because I need some time to relax and get my mind off of all of this bullshit. I won't be on Twitter as much, and I hope you all have a great day
