Police using force to clear the intersection
Traffic is moving through the intersection again but the crowd is growing. At least 250, probably more.
Intersection is being blocked again. Police left the intersection after making several arrests at the start.
Chants of "I can't breathe" continue, the intersection of 23rd and Classen remains blocked.
I can see police set up about one block away. They appear to be allowing the protest to continue after dozens showed up at first and arrested several people. The crowd continues to grow.

Realizing my feed has several scenes of arrests, which I feel is important to document. But the crowd has been 99 percent peaceful. No vandalism that I saw.

Still walking west on 16th street. Not sure the destination. No police, just a police helicopter above.
Crowd is now blocking the intersection of 16th and Penn. Now chanting "peaceful protest."
On the move again, north on Penn. An argument broke out with a motorist but several people stepped in to end it and keep the crowd moving.
The march has stopped at 23rd and Penn.
Police arrived but they are retreating as the crowd approaches them, which is clearing the intersection.
Crowd has gathered again in the intersection of 23rd and Penn.
March moving east on 23rd. This is a very diverse crowd. Lots of signs with the names of local people who have been shot by police.
We are back at the intersection of 23rd and Classen where the March began.
The crowd remains at 23rd/Classen and seems to be growing. There are no police here.
The crowd is headed to downtown. Some windows are being smashed in store fronts but others are trying to stop it.
I've walked with the march all evening but I'm now on my scooter ahead of the crowd headed to the downtown police station. No cops on Classen but I can see police monitoring from side streets. There is a parade like atmosphere with people parked along Classen to cheer the March.
I'm at the downtown police station. Crowd is several blocks away. The station is surrounded by patrol cars not letting anyone close.
It's unsettling here. Police are in riot gear and holding gas masks. They are waiting for this crowd.
Officer just warned media that gas may be deployed.

Starting to hear the chants of the crowd getting closer. Police have made a line around PD headquarters. Officer yelled "no one gets past you."

More tear gas shot and crowd is leaving. I'm also having to leave as I can't really see. This stuff is like fire on my face.
Crowd is gathering again around the police. Police putting masks on again.
Police announce crowd needs to leave. No one is leaving.
Police say the crowd has assembled unlawfully. More tear gas.
Crown is smaller but many remain
More tear gas is being shot. I haven't seen the crowd approach the officers. The tear gas containers are actually breaking windows of a building across the street.
More tear gas shot into the crowd. One person is being treated by a medic for a head injury.
For the past hour the police have shot tear gas, the crowd retreats and then returns to about 50 feet from the line of officers. This has repeated several times. I have not seen any arrests.
The officer on the Speaker keeps says "You say you want peace but you have resorted to damaging property. Leave now." A few police vehicles have been damaged.
Police fire the largest amount of tear gas yet. I got to go guys. Phone is dying and it's getting tougher to deal with this gas. I'll have stories in the morning about this rally and related policy issues.
