A lot of people understandably lament over lack of Hindutva intellectuals:

1. Hindutva is a reaction that is currently grindingly coalescing.
2. Any hint of "Hindutva" has been thoroughly smashed or deplatformed in the common self-hating Indian intellectual space for years.
3. Any look into international Indology and Hinduism studies will show that there is something terribly wrong and racism is the norm.
4. Cash is god damn king. Already built and wealthy institutions and governments push their agenda. India doesn't direct $ in that realm (yet)...
...nor has it had the time/personnel to build those institutions (still think Modi needs to do more - aka start - here though)
5. As much as you or I can criticize this lack of articulation, you will be labeled a Nazi Hindtuva bigot as soon as you say your op on something contro
Like CAA, Kashmir, or Hindutva in general.

My outlook is positive in that a dominant block of non-self-hating intellectuals will form with time. Market forces can beat govs & eventually they listen. And the market/population of India has picked its direction clearly.
There are DECADES (since 1947) of forces against this movement. The institutions and elite are still thoroughly Congressi/Left. Less than a decade back, people voted by Dalit, Rajput, Reddy, Brahmin, Agarwal, etc... instead of Hindu.

Compound interest > an aberration of power.
