How to protest is a difficult problem to tackle because there are so many variables. I don't necessarily believe we should tear down buildings and destroy private property. But I understand. I know people constantly say don't destroy your own things (your community) but I know
we have all been upset in our every day life and just tossed something that belongs to us across the room. Frustration and anger manifests in so many ways. And when it builds up too much, it's just coming out in the easiest way possible. That's what's happening with these
protests. We are angry. Yelling, marching and chanting may be enough for some. Tweeting or donating money may be an outlet for others. Another segment is going to physically damage something. Mind you, I don't think all the damage is caused by protestors. A lot of the damage
is coming from fake protestors and apparently even a few UCs. So let's not put all the damage on them. Nevertheless, this is time to focus on the actual issue. How people are protesting is far less important than why. And the why needs to be addressed.
