not a fan but i see halsey REALLY being proactive out there & using her platform for good. she’s one of the few celebrities actually going out protesting (whilst having a broken foot?) whereas other celebrities are posting useless instagram chain stories.. so there’s that

i’ve see her tweets and she’s been very vocal, i’ve heard that she’s donated 100k and honestly why isn’t this smth ALL celebrities are doing?? using their platform to speak out & help donate rather than post a hashtag on a blank story cause that shit does NOT help

i’m not saying all celebs should start going out & protesting as well (i only know of halsey , nick cannon & tinashe that are doing this) BUT i’m so disappointed in a lot of celebs. they are doing the BARE MINIMUM and still getting praised for it .. that’s NOT okay

also i do realise that people can donate in private but it would be lovely to help share links and tell OTHERS to donate esp when u have millions of followers. these people have a lot of impressionable fans who listen and would do anything for them, they need to know their impact
