FIRST OF ALL i want to say that i'm not really fluent in english, so you might find mistakes here.

but this is important, and since #BLM is on topics now, i thought i could help with joao's case by explaining it in english for those who don't know what happened.

João Pedro Mattos Pinto was in his uncles' house when he was shot on the posterior thoracic region- in his back. The bullet was lodged in his body.

In the house, police found 70 gunshot wounds.

João's body was taken in a helicopter, and his family only found him and heard from him 17 hours later. João was at the IML (Legal Medical Institute), dead.

The three policemen who took part in the police action that killed joão were removed from work in the streets.

In their first statement, right after the crime, the policemen claimed to have shot about twenty times.

In the second and most recent statement, they changed their version, and said they shot 60 times.

One of the policemen - the one who was ahead and fired the most - said he fired using a 762 caliber Parafal rifle, with which he fired ten times.

In his second statement, he said he fired 31 shots on the day of the crime: 15 with the 762 rifle and another 16 with a
556 caliber rifle.

According to the policeman, he used the .762 rifle while he was in the helicopter, shooting from above, and the .556 rifle was used when he went off the vehicle and invaded the house where João Pedro was with 5 friends.

According to João's family, one of the people who was there shouted that there was only kids.

João's dad said:

"The police got there in a cruel way, shooting, throwing grenades, without asking who it was. If they knew the character of my son, who my son was, they wouldn't do that. My son is a student, a servant of God. His life was home, church, school and mobile gambling"

A friend of the family denounced, through comments on the social networks of the Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel, that the police had taken João Pedro's cell phone, and also those of his friends who were with him.

She said:

"Why? Have they started an investigation among themselves or are they starting right there to destroy hard evidence of a murderer? Are you the father of a black, slumdog son?"

According to the police, grenades and two pistols were found at the scene. According to the family, the grenades and pistols were planted to incriminate, trying to justify the crime.
