a lot of folks way too quiet for my taste this week
let it be known there is no “neutral stance” to any of the events that have taken place this week
navigating though a primarily white design industry, i used to have to tip toe around these conversations to some degree — but frankly, i truly don’t care if it costs me opportunities. i am absolutely tired bro
nobody has the answers right now, there’s no perfect way to navigate this — but step a few inches out of your comfort zone and let people know where YOU stand on these issues.

use your CHEST to speak up for your black friends and colleagues right now.
if you have an account on this app, you have a voice. trust me when i say the silence is deafening, and more than anything, truly disappointing.

the lifestyle posts, recipes and product drops can wait, and if I’m keeping it a buck, posting that shit is rn is just disrespectful
to paraphrase an ig post from paul sepuya in my own words:

i’m talking to YOU creative directors, photographers, artist reps, djs, producers, designers, influencers...

everyone inspired by and consuming black culture: RAISE YOUR VOICE ON OUR BEHALF
