Thread on why I think Lex Luther killed his dad by poisoning the Bourbon in his room;
So we know Lex SR grew up in poverty and a lot of Lex JR’s dialogue in regards to this focus on two things in particular...food and books(knowledge)

“He grew up eating stale crackers” and this scene👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 for example
Lex SR’s room is now filled with things he couldn’t afford growing up like lots of book and expensive drinks. Stuff I imagine are now important to him.
“My Dad always said that Kentucky Mash was the secret to health”

I’m sure Lex would appreciate the irony of using the thing his father said was the secret to health/the thing that symbolises how far he has come as a weapon to kill him.
“I’m not going to drink it”

..I feel like this line is telling us that this theory is correct

She says this in the room Lex probably poisoned his dad, while he’s holding bourbon and I think the smile from Lex is Terrio letting us know that Lex sees the irony in this too 👀
There’s already a connection between liquids, death and Lex with the Granny’s peach tea scene.

Both bottles containing something that shouldn’t be in them (poison and piss lol) which lead to death and are the last thing his victims see
You could also tie this theory of Lex, death and liquids to superman (as well as Lex SR and Finch) I feel like this one is a reach but Superman almost died because of liquid poisoned by Lex’s Kryptonite
....with the amount of effort both Terrio and Snyder put into BVS, I assume they know exactly how Lex killed his dad and they definitely put crumbs into the movie 👀👀
Realising I spelled Lex Luthor wrong 🙁
