/x You're more than welcome to ask "Why can't they protest peacefully?" AFTER you've asked the following questions:

"Was I vocally supportive when black athletes peacefully protested by kneeling?"

/ "How is it possible that heavily armed white protesters can protest global pandemic related business closures, marching into government buildings with machine guns and yelling in the face of cops without any kind of escalation from law enforcement?"
/ "How would I feel if my child was lying on the ground in my own front lawn with multiple cops pointing guns on him after he **rolled through a stop sign** and his 90-year-old grandmother was trying to physically shield him from harm?
/ "Why do people of color make up more than 90% of the arrests for marijuana when data shows that whites use and sell it as much if not more?"
/ "Why are men of color 2.5x more likely to die during an arrest than white men, even though white men own guns at 2x the rate of men of color?"
/ "Have I listened to anyone of color describe how being profiled and stopped by the police feels?"
/ "Have I ever been afraid for my life or for the lives of my children when encountering law enforcement?"
/ "Was I outraged over the white nationalist who drove his car into a crowd of protesters? Did I ask why he couldn't speak his voice peacefully?"
/ "Have I ever stood up for racial injustice or the unequal treatment of someone of color in my own life?"
/ "Have I ever admitted to myself that something I said or did showed my bias or insensitivity and made an apology and commitment to change?"
/ "Would the USA even be here without original armed resistance to oppression?"
/ "Do I know who it refers to when it was sung that the "First man to die for the flag we now hold high was a black man"? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crispus_Attucks#Boston_Massacre
After you've gone through these questions, go ahead and ask why protesters aren't more peaceful and don't expect justice to come in ways that are more convenient for you.
