my theories regarding IU and Suga& #39;s collaboration song, "Eight" ; a thread

it& #39;s called 8 coz if you flip it horizontally it looks like the infinity sign. IU sings about wanting to keep the memories of her and her significant other forever. and she says "Forever Young" because their memories won& #39;t age inside her head. it& #39;s a sad but hopeful song.

the song sounds so incredibly beautiful and it& #39;s a beautiful vibe but honestly it& #39;s also incredibly sad and the lyrics make you pity her so much because you know her hope for them to get back together is futile...but,like, you don& #39;t wanna keep her from dreaming either

the dragon in the MV could be a symbol of her lover. she jumps & when she falls it catches her. she& #39;s only with the dragon when she& #39;s in the alternate universe (dreams/memories) coz in reality he& #39;s gone. they can only be together in her memories =(
