The thing about this is that Zack’s Superman isn’t MORE right than any other. He’s just as right. An 80 year old character has multitudes. Every single writer has brought something new to the table. They picked the pieces they wanted and used them like everyone else.

There is no 100% canon Superman origin story. There are several and they’re all valid.

Hell, in his earliest one, the Kent’s found him and immediately put him in an orphanage.

I could be wrong, but the first time Jonathan Kent had ever died was in 1963. That was 25 years after Superman was created.

The heart attack was created for the movie. The New 52 killed both him AND Martha in a car accident. Doomsday Clock brought them both back to life and in most continuities, they’ve never died.

The day a majority of comic book fans accept there’s no canon, we will have peace.
