I’d like to point out that armed protestors like the ones at the Michigan state capital that demanded the state open up and ‘took control’ of the capital met no resistance from police not only because they were majority white and middle class but because the police weren’t afraid

All those guns and tactical gear and the police knew you wouldn’t have the balls to do anything with it. You didn’t take a hostage you didn’t burn the building down you didn’t even make real demands. You walked into an unlocked building took a photo and left.

You stood for nothing and would risk nothing for it and the police know this and that’s why they infantalize you and treat you like children. They let you do what you wanted because unchecked with military grade weapons you’re still just petulant children out for a photo op.

Meanwhile the police are losing their minds over unarmed kids and people with signs and the reason is because they know the cause is real and because of that the people will risk for that cause. The police are guilty. They know it and they know that you know.
