omg 3 HOURS, I can’t math
BONUS:
- realize you’re missing ingredients you thought you had (forgot to buy more)
- don’t have enough of something
- can’t find where you put it
CHOOSE ONE:
- panic trip to store
- add something a substitute and hope for the best
- don’t add it at all

ADHD COOKING PROBS #2:
FORGET TO:
- pre-heat oven
- defrost meat
- boil water
- start pasta/rice
- set timers
- take out of oven after ignoring timer
- “where is the 1 tsp spoon/strainer/can opener”
- manage multiple ongoing cooking processes (only focus on one thing at a time)

I LOVE cooking but it’s such a painful process for me because my #ADHD brain has such a hard time with:
- advance planning/preparation
- remembering instructions
- multiple complex ongoing tasks
- time management

- time management
it doesn’t help that i crave novelty (and therefore rarely make the same recipes)
plus, i almost never read the entire recipe in advance, which means i don’t actually realize how complex it is (until i’m in the midst of making it)

if it wasn’t for frozen pizzas and hamburger helper i would probably starve ngl
the annoying part is @JoshuaPrice88 and i are actually both good at cooking
it’s just such a pain to actually cook (+ clean) that we don’t do it often
