After letting the Judd Brackett news set in for a day, I think the most frustrating aspect is the consistent track record of this #Canucks 
management regime pushing differing voices out. There seems to be a "fall in line" attitude amongst JBJW. Speak up, and there's the door.

Part of this is the classic definition of the Peter principle. JB has been promoted to a level of incompetence. While his track record as a scout may be good, he simply cannot grasp how that is not his job anymore. He shows a complete inability to delegate tasks
Jim's job is to manage the organization.... generally. So assign every department with the best people possible and then leave them to do their job. Listen to what they need, provide them with the resources and support, and back away. This is how successful companies are run.
The whole basis of his hiring was that he was an excellent scout. But did anybody stop to ask if he could MANAGE? I think far to often in hockey (especially), promotion is given based on hockey merit rather than business credentials.
Running a $700M enterprise, with extremely intelligent minds under you, who are all strong minded and going to have opinions, takes more than "hockey knowledge". People go to school and work for years to understand this, and even then, find out that they're not cut out for it.
Which is not a knock on JB, or any other similar GM for that matter. This falls on owners. Why was Linden thrust into the President of the organization role w/ zero experience? Why was JB considered able to manage? Stop hiring people who's experience consists of being in the game
I want a President and GM who know how to run a business. That properly delegate the hockey operation tasks to capable people because they have humility that those people know better than them. Hire the right people, and you don't have to micro manage.
Anyway, we have a billionaire owner who pretends to be a DJ, employing a scout who pretends he's a GM, building a team that pretends to be good, fooling a fanbase that pretends to be smart. We're screwed. Eat Arby's.
