seeing people rt a few things for blm then immediately go back to their usual tweeting about anime or idols or whatever is infuriating. stop it. take this seriously. i don& #39;t fucking care how mean i sound because i& #39;m frustrated. i& #39;m sick of being ignored. im sick of being silenced
this isnt saying you cant talk about your interests. but if thats ALL you talk about after rting 2 or 3 tweets then you& #39;re extremely performative. you& #39;re showing that you don& #39;t truly care about us
i& #39;m so mad. i& #39;m so mad at how dismissive people can be during this. it makes me so angry, but at the same time it breaks my heart. is it too much to ask for people to care about me and other black people? why are your interests more important than our lives?
