Lots of times, we dig ourselves the grave of “fighting the patriarchy” (all at once) and it can be exhausting & unrewarding to take on an entire structure on your own (though you should always organise against invasive structures)

I like to think of Male Power as the oft-identifiable, strategic, but discrete manifestations of Patriarchy meant to implement or proliferate its ideologies, laws, or energies. Though structures promote/support Male Power, at times IRL only one person may be advocating for it

funny thing is that Male Power isnt always a consciously embodied strategy (its very nature is 2 rationalise itself as apolitical) so if you are smart enough to identify it, you technically know more abt what’s happening than the person w the allotted power over what’s happening

but today is not that day & also there’s a lot to be said about Male Power tho if I had to ARTPOP it in mad summarize it in relevance to life today: #chillculture & debilitating cynicism
