I'm really glad there are people like Tadiwa who recognize the pride I have in selling bananas on a scorch cart. I speak it up no matter who's in the room I tell people I sell bananas, it's my biggest flex, I speak about bananas like I run a franchise.
i promote & advertise bananas like it's lasagna. I want you to think Ricky each time you come across a banana! https://twitter.com/RickyDirz_/status/1261379631174877190?s=19
this is because I have got a bigger picture! I want to set a standard out of nothing! I breathe, live & talk banana for that!
i discovered my niche in selling. I shout ((( BANANA BANANA))), I've convinced people to buy swollen/overripe bananas, little did I know I was developing the selling energy I've got today!
a lot of times you'll be chanting for nothing, sometimes I laugh about it because it seems demented
But you have to shout to get your banana sold sometimes, kufuze uncenge otherwise you're just taking a petty walk pushing a load.

it's a tiring job! My voice breaks, other mornings I wake up without a voice, but I enjoy loading 600 bananas & selling them all out in a single day. It gives me an overwhelming sense of achievement! Hence the passion.
what drives me even more is the bigger picture! I created a vision of whom I want to be at 30, and I'm living into that
picture as if it were already true. You can't live into nothing!
picture as if it were already true. You can't live into nothing!
i sound so certain that I'm gonna be great like I know what the future brings. Well I'm not certain, I'm just willing to take the risk. Phela there's only two things, Failure & Success, Risk & Remorse.
i'm risking to be disappointed at 30, i'm also risking to be successful.
i'm risking to be disappointed at 30, i'm also risking to be successful.
i will discover my fate when I get there, in the mean time I'm gonna be pompous about the banana I sell.
there's joy in even the worst of places, the music, spirit, stories people talk about. Working in a public setup is actually awesome! We see & hear a lot of things. Indaba zenu.
this thread is just to give you a peep into the streets, from a vendor's angle.
