1- Officer assaults yelling Black protester

2- See how woman in red steps in, redirects attacking officer, & protects Black woman.

THAT is allyship.

3- See how officer assaulted a Black woman- for yelling.

Red dress SHOVED him- but he didn’t hit her.

That’s unequal policing. https://twitter.com/ava/status/1266797973834395648
Watch the video again & observe the Black woman’s feet.

Notice- the Black woman’s feet did NOT move before the officer hit her.

She didn’t move towards him or threaten his safety, but he slammed her with his bike.

The officer escalated and attacked a nonviolent protester.
Now, focus on the person in red:

She’s calm & alert.
Not escalating the tense mood.

She LEAPS into action & protects a Black protester.

Then she de-escalates IMMEDIATELY & extends her arms as a shield.

She added safety - without increasing the danger.

Superhero allyship!
Remember:

The Black woman put her LIFE on the line to be at that protest, & was hurt by a violent police officer.

The woman in the red dress was NOT in any danger, and she knew it.

Centre and protect Black heroes who risk their safety, & their actual LIVES, to fix this world.
